Travel Checklist: Items You Should Bring for a Ski VacationTerohan Nula September 17, 2018 0 COMMENTS
It may still be several months away, but you’re already counting down the days until you’ll leave for your mountain ski resort vacation. Yes, you can hardly wait, so to pass the time more quickly, why don’t you just make a checklist of the things you need to bring for your trip?
You’ll need to pack clothing items specifically designed for skiing. These include your new Descente Swiss ski jacket, and then your ski pants, mask, gloves, and socks. That said, don’t forget to also bring some casual clothes for when you’re not skiing. Some thermal underwear, pullover sweaters, denim jeans, and snow shoes should keep you warm out in the snow. Additionally, you’ll have to prepare clothing accessories like a scarf, beanie, gloves and earmuffs.
Aside from your clothes, you’ll need some gear for your ski trip. Your skis and poles should be at the top of your gear-to-bring list, but you shouldn’t forget your helmet, goggles, and boots. When it comes to transporting your ski equipment, you have the options to ship the pieces in advance or fly them with you. If you’re flying them, be sure to check with your airline regarding its policies on luggage with ski gear.
Of course, you have other personal items that you should bring with you. For one, you’ll need toiletries, such as shampoo, soap, toothpaste, etc., especially if you’re not one to use the items provided by hotels or inns. Your tech gadgets, particularly your smartphone, tablet, and camera, are also must-haves when going on trips. Lastly, remember to pack your travel and other personal documents, including your passport, tickets, valid IDs, insurance cards, and credit cards.
Hopefully, this will help you prepare your checklist and the items you need to bring for your ski vacation. But once you’re done, you may have to go back to counting down the days again! Safe travels!
